We work with federal, state and local agencies, private sector entities and non governmental organizations to strengthen emergency planning partnerships.
The CEPP’s strength is its strong partnerships and far-reaching network of approximately 4300 members. Our members represent retail, critical infrastructure, commercial properties, sports and entertainment venues, hospitals, education, and a myriad of other industries throughout Colorado.

CEPP accomplishes this mission through;
- Representation on Boards and Committees - Conducting Training and Workshops - Increased Information Sharing - Promoting Situational Awareness on Emerging Threats |
Private Sector Subcommittee
The CEPP leads a Private Sector Subcommittee that reports to the State's Homeland Security All-Hazards Senior Advisory Committee (HSAC). The HSAC is chaired by the Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Public Safety.
The Private Sector Subcommittee meets quarterly and is comprised of private and public stakeholders interested in strengthening joint emergency plans in Colorado. We work on private sector issues of concern during emergencies, such as credentialing, information sharing, reentry programs for business, etc. In 2021, our focus is ensuring private sector concerns are heard as we distribute vaccines and re-open the economy. We welcome large and small businesses, and partners who chair focused groups such as the Colorado Retail Council and the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association. If you want to find out more or are interested in joining this group, please contact Eugene Wade at info@thecepp.org. Meetings are normally 10am to noon at the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Office, 9195 E. Mineral Ave, Centennial, CO, 80112. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have transitioned all meetings to virtual until further notice. 2022 Meeting Dates are Jan 17, Apr 18, Jul 18, and Oct 17 |
