There is no cost to join the Colorado Emergency Preparedness Partnership.
Benefits of being involved include:
- Joint Emergency Planning, Training and Exercising: CEPP can help you be involved in local and state emergency management efforts throughout the state. You can plan, train and exercise with public sector partners by identifying your training needs through CEPP.
- Emergency Communications and Information Sharing: CEPP works with state and federal partners to develop information sharing platforms and protocols with private sector partners. During an emergency, CEPP will be used to help communicate resource requests and other pertinent information to private sectors companies.
- Disaster Coordination: During a disaster, CEPP has a seat in the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) and will help resolve private sector concerns.
- Resource Sharing: If resources are needed from the private sector, these requests often flow through CEPP. Local and State Emergency Managers use CEPP to help locate resources during an emergency or disaster. These requests could be for donations or for reimbursable expenses.
